OSHA-10 General Industry
The 10-hour safety course covers general safety and health hazards for entry-level workers. Training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. Students will receive an official OSHA-10 card after successful completion of the course.
Arc Flash and Electrical Safety Training
This course provides specific hazards associated with electrical energy, safe work practices and procedures necessary to provide protection from electrical hazards associated with jobs or tasks, and identification of the relationship between electrical hazards and possible injury.
Bloodborne Pathogens Training
Designed for those who are at risk of exposure to blood and other bodily fluids. The course teaches participants how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Those who sucessfully complete the training will receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year.
Fire Safety Training
This course teaches participants how to prevent, respond to, and reduce the risk of fire. Course participants will learn how to identify the different types and classes of fires, the different classes of fire extinguishers, the limitations of fire extinguishers, how to select the appropriate class of fire extinguisher to use given a class of fire, and how to properly use an extinguisher.
Workplace Violence
This course teaches how to recognize the warning signs of violence and develop an action plan. This course also teaches how to identify an active threat and methods to improve safety during an active threat situation.. It features real-life scenarios in a variety of industry settings, and offers practical guidance that is designed to educate learners on the topic of workplace violence.
OSHA-30 General Industry
The 30-hour training program is intended to provide workers with some safety responsibility a greater depth and variety of training. Training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. Students will receive an official OSHA-30 card after successful completion of the course.
First Aid/CPR/AED
This course teaches learners to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies, such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illness, head, neck, and back injuries, heat and cold emergencies, and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older. American Red Cross 2 year certification.
Personal Protective Equipment Training
This course teaches participants the fundamentals of PPE, including, identifying necessary PPE, donning and doffing, when to use PPE, limitations of PPE, and more. This course is one of the requirements of the OSHA Personal Protective Equipment Standard. Those who sucessfully complete the training will receive a Personal Protective Equipment Training certification valid for one valid for one year.
